Terms Entered in Search Tools
When a visitor enters a name or place in an embedded search tool, the query is sent to the third-party company that operates that tool. Alleghany County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s terms and privacy practices govern its handling of the query.
Messages Sent to Us
If a visitor sends an email or contact-form message, we keep the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share that message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Information Collected Automatically
Routine technical records may be created when a page loads. They help operate and assess the site and can include:
